Our Team
Bryce A. Denton
Bryce’s vision to drive consulting partnerships into an immersive and engaging experience led to the founding of MTN CFO in late 2010. Before that, he spent nine years in financial accounting, focusing on both operational and strategic applications of financial accounting.
His mission is to partner and collaborate with outdoor industry and conservation clients of all sizes – from small nonprofit to startup to established powerhouse. His clients operate throughout North America, Europe and beyond.
With a deeply-ingrained love for the mountains, he moved with his beloved black lab, Annabella, to Colorado to access the state’s natural beauty on a daily basis. An avid hiker, skier, hunter and angler, he continues to discover new places that take his breath away.
Founder + CEO
Jenny Janecke
Jenny comes with over 25 years of experience in business development, sales education and management - with a track record of success and accolades across multiple industries. She is excited to lead business development and community relationships for MTN CFO; and her innate passion for the outdoor industry and health and wellness, makes her a perfect fit for this new role. She enjoys meeting new people, building relationships and helping businesses grow through education and support.
She also comes with over 5 years of experience of dealing with Bryce, who she begrudgingly sees on a daily basis as they raise their daughter and wild puppy in the mountains of Colorado.
Director of OperationsCailin Vallejo
Cailin brings over 10 years of accounting experience, supporting a variety of organizations with their financial operations and helping teams make informed business decisions. During the COVID pandemic, she decided to pursue her other passion—dog training and behavior—where she spent several years working with dogs and their humans to build stronger relationships through education and positive training.
One of her favorite parts of dog training was the opportunity to spend most of her days active outdoors. She is excited to return to accounting and combine her financial expertise with her passion for working alongside organizations that share her appreciation for the outdoors and conservation.
Outside of work, Cailin can usually be found taking her dogs on sniffaris, exploring the many forest preserves and natural areas that Illinois has to offer. She loves swimming, paddle boarding, and just about any water related activity.
Director of Accounting
Annabella
Annabella is in charge of our client relations department. Her daily routine consists of greeting anyone that she comes in contact with, ensuring that no person feels left out – or goes with out an opportunity to pet her. Her other roles include: cleaning floors, warming feet, and reminding us not to take life too seriously.
When she is not working you can find her tirelessly playing fetch, splashing in puddles, or sunning herself on a patio.
Client Relations (retired 2023)
Luna
Luna follows in the very large footsteps of Annabella, who retired in 2023 and left a gaping hole in the office. Luna brings a puppy like energy to MTN CFO and ensures that no moment is a dull one. If you’ve ever wanted a dog to jump in the air and attempt to hug you… then you should swing by and meet Luna.
When she is not working you can find her harassing neighborhood chipmunks, supervising the night’s watch and attempting to eat every blueberry off of Jenny’s plants.
Chaos Coordinator
Halas & Canelo
Halas and Canelo assist in day-to-day operations, each contributing in their own unique way. Halas, our senior greeter, makes it his mission to ensure everyone who walks through the door feels like the most important person in the room. Whether he's serenading the office with his signature howls, climbing into someone's lap, or simply showing off his goofy personality, he's always finding a way to brighten someone's day.
Canelo serves as our dedicated office assistant, offering support by strategically positioning himself in the middle of just about every activity. He welcomes visitors with a toy and firmly believes no meeting should begin without a proper game of fetch. His love of water is only rivaled by his enthusiasm for retrieving absolutely anything that's thrown.
